5:18 am - christmas
|
finally, i am able to update my journal again (i'm still here in HSBC & waiting for my mom to fetch me)! it's been almost 4 months already since i posted my last journal.
christmas is just around the corner. it definitely is. :)

12:32 pm - a nocturnal person for UK process training
|
today is the start of me being a vampire. my shift commences at 7pm tonight until 4am of the following day. obviously, i have to adjust and adapt to that kind of time if i want to stay long in hsbc. i find it challenging as well, because this will actually be my first time to work in a graveyard shift. i just have to be careful about my face, though.. pimples appear. the only remedy, i believe, that can only help me prevent this kind of unwantedness (if there's such a term) is by drinking lots of water & washing my face regularly, kahit cold water lang just to close my facial pores.
tranche (or batch) 1 is getting bigger. originally, we are just 24 minus 1. so that makes it 23. then 2 more persons will be sitting in with us throughout the training so that makes them our classmates. that makes it 25 now. then our trainer, luanne, introduced somebody named chris ong, an AMO from UK personal cards, telling us that he will be our classmate as well. woah, now we're 26! and then i believe 3 more SMEs will be joining also. 29, the biggest number for a process training. funny thing though, we are 29 now but the room that we'll be stayong in is just good for 22 persons. haha!

2:20 pm - it's been a while..

it has been a month since i last updated my journal.. buti nalang may internet na dito sa hsbc! :P but then again, i don't make any promise that i would be updating my journal every now and then. heehee! :D
had my salary earlier than expected: 12th of august. went shopping with marty last saturday for my pants. saw one that's really nice! =p~ a bit expensive though.. pero ok lang, investment naman e. :)i was also looking for tops that will go well with my newly-bought trousers. la akong makita! @_@ kamiseta and bayo didn't have anything nice and new.. neither did those shops that i entered for the first time. "a sign", i thought. kaya naman pala akong walang makita kasi merong blouse na naka-hang sa cabinet ko! :P
will try to leave the house this weekend again.. will canvass for shoes. :D i foresee that i'll be hitting the grounds of atc again. i would like to go to makati though.. however, when marty and i computed the amount that he'll be shelling out for our fare, we both agreed to go to atc again instead. harhar! :P
i feel sick. but still must attend work. money is needed.

today, as i went out to our garage, the glare of the sun is noticeably painful to the eyes -- just the reflection of it on the ground as it bounces upward to the person's face. but i think it is better to be sunny than to be raining para di nahihirapan yung ating mga unfortunate filipino citizens, pero ok na din yung umuulan sa gabi para malamig.. wag lang bagyo. ;) yun lang.

went to atc today. why? 1. my lola has to deposit her riches (wahahah!:D) at keppel bank and 2. she bought shoes for me! yehey! :D kasi yung beaded slippers ko, which according to my granma, has to be thrown away already! waaaaa.. of course i won't throw it. i'd still use it even if i go to bf or somewhere else. haha! :) cute pair of shoes -- something i've always wanted: similar to ballet shoes but it's got short heels with it. it's color beige and my feet looks slim (a factor which i always look for when buying a shoes). i'll wear it again soon para kayo nalang ang mag-judge. ;)
next week, (official) start of work.. @_@

i love marty -- without a doubt. things that make me love him more from elementary days up to now:
1. he says my name in ways which i know no one else can say it like he does. i have found my security in him, and him in me (i suppose).
2. he may crack up some jokes that even the shallowest person won't laugh at but when he shares it to me, i laugh (even when i try to control it and with the fact that it's corny).
3. he makes me smile when i'm down. so cliche, i know. but there's something about him that make me forget my problems.
4. he goes out of his way to make me happy. one word: sweet.
5. when he says 'i love you', he means it.
6. when he kisses me, it's full of love and passionately done.
7. when he hugs me, it's like we have not seen each other for a long time.
8. even when he doesn't text me, ok lang. kasi he calls me instead.

i talked with marty last night. he said that he'll most likely be resigning from his work by early next year. fine with me. i think it's just about time that he should do that kasi puro nalang charity works ang ginagawa nya... and also (i think) for the fact that he's getting irritated by his mom's never-ending "lumipat ka na kasi ng trabaho." poor marty. *cry*
eph will be a regular employee (of don ayala) by september. finally, she can get the promotion she wants. promotion = more moolah. wahahah! :D
bukas sabado na and i'll be singing my heart out! :p hoorah!! :D
si chiara di na bumalik kahit sabi nya sandali lang sya aalis. this calls for a boycot! (tama ba spelling? :p)
i. am. bored. nobody went online today! waaah.. looks like we will be resuming on monday instead.
monday, june 27: the supposedly official start of my workday. ok lang, kelangan ko pa talaga magpagaling. need more iron supplements (liver, that is. haha!) so they (HSBC) can say that i'm so totally fit to work. wehe! :p
i hope e-telecare calls today so that my sister won't be worrying anymore.
my sister sent me an forwarded e-mail. cute sya. i'll ask my sis first how to send it to other people. (eph, this ain't a chain mail or anything. promise! i'll send it to you soon. :))
i took a picture of myself, half-naked. just wanted to see how thin i have gone. and from what i have seen, i am thin. i saw my shoulder bones protruding in my skin. not nice to look at anymore. must gain some weight as soon as possible. @_@ no wonder why even my fit pair of pants slide my waist...

while waiting for my work day to start, my gimmicks with my friends have become noticeably frequent. and i don't easily get scolded when i arrive home late. have the rules around the house changed? i hope so. and surprisingly, i don't hear negative comments about marty anymore (except for his gained weight. hehe).
we were at starbucks last night: same group of friends, same topics. starbucks have apparently become our latest tambayan (aside from my house); we see people that we don't really care about (harhar) and meet new acquiantances (i.e: xavier francia's cousin. what's his name again? roland? i am basing it from the cup he was holding when xavier introduced him to us). when lj was not yet that frequent in going out with us, we usually stay inside (whether we are lucky enough to sit on those cushioned chairs or not). and since she has joined us most of the time already, we stay outside. however, when i get home, my hair smells like a cigarette smoke (i don't blame you (lj) for that ha? okay lang. ;p).
starbucks have now this new promo: a backpack of some sort. you have to complete 41 stickers by the end of july 31 so you can get it. limited time and limited stocks. so hurry, complete the stickers now! that's.. aagghhh! @_@ but on the bright side of that, i would like to thank starbucks for introducing me to their undying mocha frappucino! yum! :D
i'm going to red box this saturday with high school friends. i have been vocalizing and practicing the songs that i'll be singing eversince this was planned. wahaha! don't really care if their glass windows are sound proof or not. another wahaha! can't wait to sing my heart out! :p

|
it was only the other day that i gave my opened emails another rundown before deleting them. i came across this forwarded email entitled Digest #120, love descriptions given by a group of 4-8 year-old kids. there was a contribution that said - i'm not sure about the whole sentence, but i think you'll get my point ;) - that the kid's grandma can't polish her nails because of athritis, and it's her husband who does it even he's got athritis too. nice no? :)
tapos may naisip ako na kung sakaling given the chance to add what love means, i'd say: love is sitting together side-by-side, holding hands & listening to each other's heartbeats. pwede na ba? haha! :p tapos marty suggested also that love for him is smelling your girlfriend's armpit from behind even when you know you're already sweating and still not obvious to him. kadiri diba? X.x pero kung iisipin ng mabuti, sweet na din. heehee! :D
by the way, yung idea ko ng love, i thought about it while hearing mass (obviously not concentrating!@_@ bad, abbie. bad. haha! :p).

im waiting for the day my work actually starts. konting tiis nalang. yehey! :)
i also went swimming today with my sister (never mind the rain and the semi-strong gush of wind..). my arms somewhat ached because i haven't made any dip in the pool nor beach since last year. marty and i are planning of going to the beach next year, particularly puerto galera. syempre, high school buddies are included! :) (hmm.. body must be really slim and fit. stubborn puson MUST definitely be gone! must see myself wearing those 2-piece bikinis! ;p)
a few moments ago, eph texted me. telling me that she actually screamed at their maid and she feels like an old maid! @_@ i think it's normal to sometimes scream at them though of course, morally, it's bad. pero eph, up to what level ba ang anger mo at nasigawan mo ang maid nyo?
when will my hair grow really long again? :( haha, parang tanong sa shampoo commercial! :p
i was able to chat with chiara again today, and lj also. sana lahat ng high school friends ko online para masaya. :)
marty hasn't called yet.

nung lunes (hunyo 6), nakita ko si marlon generoso sa isang parang tulay papuntang convergys, alabang. nung una, hindi ko sya namukaan. akala ko kung sinong lalake lang (kasi naman no, pa-cute pa kung mag-lakad!). tapos nung tinanggal na nya yung shades, dun lang kami nag-hi sa isa't isa.
ABBIE: pusa! akala ko kung sino! (sabay smile)
MARLON: ha? bakit naman? kamusta na si marty?
A: ok lang. nasa work ngayon. di kita namukaan. ang payat mo!
M: ha?
A: ay hindi.. tumangkad ka at nagkalaman ka compared nung high school.
M: ay oo naman. (sabay smile) san ka?
A: sa hsbc.
M: mas ok yun.
A: haha! san ka punta?
M: dyan lang (pointing to convergys). tatambay. rest day ko ngayon e. haha!
A: ok ka ha! anong trabaho mo dyan?

A: wow! not bad ha.. ang bilis for a team leader.

a realization: it was only that time that i was able to converse with him for more than a minute complete with tawanan & physical contact! @_@ and by the way, if you think i'm already tall, nanliit ako when he stood in front of me! @.@ and he looked jologs that day. his hair dyed into brown and brushed up and an ear pierced with an earring. X.X

last monday and tuesday, i got sick due to tummy pains. from my normal weight of 130 lbs., i am now weighing less than 125 lbs. and i am enjoying it! :D
(my standard weight for my height should be 140 lbs. i freak out when i weigh a little more than 130! @.@)

12:19 pm - no pain, no gain
|
last saturday, while hurrying down the stairs, i fell on my butt and slipped going down! don't know how it happened; everything was so fast. missed 5 steps, though. *ouch!* my favorite yellowish sandals (my feet looks sexy when i wear these. heehee! *wink wink*) are now somewhere together with the shoes that are once-in-a-blue-moon worn.. straps have loosen from its base and i have to bring them to a shoe clinic soon (pag may pera na ko.:p).
i am now mildly suffering from internal bruise in my right cheek butt, bruise and lump in my sheen area, small bruise in my upper left foot and painful-when-touched bruise a little above the ankle area.
i also accidentally cut myself yesterday while slicing singkamas for last night's potluck..

i had my interview last week and thankfully, i passed. i was offered a job. :)
today, i went to alabang again to see and know what does their "job offer" mean, and read some policies before i start working with them. to give you an idea of what was written in their policy, here are a few:
>your probationary employment will last 6 months starting june 27 - dec 26 (some explanation).
>as an operations associate you shall be paid every 15th & 30th of each month
**basic salary: secret! :P
**night shift differential: 20% of basic salary (for work done between 10pm and 6am)
**meal allowance: secret ulit! :P
>in addition, you shall receive the appropriate overtime pay, premium pay for work done on rest days and holidays and proportionate 13th-month pay.
i still have a month to bum around. heehee :D
